A worthy effort

It looked like a fun game, until the glitches set in. The big dragon's health would occasionally freeze on me, the fix/upgrade option in the pause menu didn't work even after I bought the builder, the power-ups (jalapeƱo, laxative, etc.) sometimes didn't do anything after I bought them and the game has actually frozen on me twice. It could be a fun game, but it needs some tweaking.

Could be good...but isn't.

Ninja baby using a super laser to kill old nazi robot schoolgirls sounds awful first off. Like a Korean hash of a really bad anime hashed from an old American cartoon gone wrong. The music was okay, but a mute button is always nice. The lack of sound effects was bad, but considering the amount of explosions and death going on, I understand why.

The gameplay itself was good for the amount of time spent on it. But your character just looked like a short ninja with a diaper on, not really a baby, and the enemies didn't look like anything. There were no swastikas to show that they were nazi, and the only proof we had that they were old was the wigs and the schoolgirl bit was when one or two of them had a dress.

Starting off with an amazing laser and improving that weapon of choice was an excellent idea, but the upgrades didn't really do much, and the health buying button was broken. It would have been nice to see the option to buy a squad of babies or a laser wall for your fortress like the enemy had. Adding a story and different maps would have also been a big improvement.

I rate this a 4/10, slightly below average, which is good for this game. Work on this one more guys, and bring us a full game!

Hidden link!

The game is pretty good, good music, overdone and yet addicting game play, plenty of variety, and while the unit limit is kind of frustrating, it's most likely there so that the game won't lag, which is fine. The thing that killed this, however was the lack of a campaign mode and the hidden link! That link throws me off every time. Whenever I want to look ahead and see what enemies are on the way, I hit that hidden link! Please remove it and just place an ad or something on upper screen or somewhere out of the way so it doesn't disrupt game play.

Hmm...

Personally, I enjoyed the fact you had to draw your own path through these negative bars to get to your chocolate. It allowed you to make the game as easy or hard as you wanted depending on how you drew your path. Graphics could be better, and a storyline would be nice. the game actually got really interesting after level 15, so you had time to really warm up to the game. Something that you may want to work on would be the size, make the area you need to draw to get to your goal larger, perhaps give it a scrolling ability to make the distance to the goal a bit further from reach. It was also quite irritating when your character leapt automatically after reaching the edge of your line rather than simply dropped, but it may just be to make the game a little harder, so it may be smart to simply leave that in. All in all, I think this needs a sequel just so you can prove that this game can be quite enjoyable if given the chance.

Awesome..

but I personally think the first one was better. I don't know why, but there was something about the first one that was better than this one. Probably a worthless post, but while both of the Gemcraft games were epic, the first one was better lol

My name?

Why....Is my name on this? I had nothing to do with this thing...

Magnificent.

You have perfected the true fun of war, without the politics that follows. This game is fun, and it will keep you going for a while. It's something you can do for entertainment and just if your bored and need something to do. It truly is a masterfully done game and I congratulate you. You have done what so few are able to do and make the sequel actually better than the first while keeping it going in the same direction. If I had a hat I would take it off for you.

I didn't really like it.

Most of the game went without sound, which was kind of disappointing. The one music bit you have isn't even vaguely related to pokemon and isn't really appropriate for what you used it for. Finally, I am a pokemon fan, and so I was kind of excited to see a quiz only to discover that its only focusing on the tiny bits of the show that nobody is really concerned with. How about a few questions about pokemon instead of just the show? All in all, 4/10 2/5

A good beginning

This game is extremely simple, but strangely entertaining. Have you ever considered stickmen? They seem like something right up your alley. We can never have too many stickmen games. 3/5 6/10

major glitching problem

I never actually got to play the game. I select new game, watch the opening scene (amazing by the way) and when I selected the first level, glitchy chaos! So I exited and reloaded the game (Omega pain!) And tried again, only this time I skipped the opening movie and then the level select screen went to glitchy chaos I could select the level to play. So I reload the game once more (and prayed) and this time I watched the opening movie again and selected the first level, and it went major glitchy and sped through all of the pause options and unpaused at light speed, I could do nothing. Please fix these glitches so I can actually play this potentially great game.

Paranoia responds:

I'm assuming it's a player issue, since I've never had any problems and it's only occurring in a small portion of players. Blame Adobe, then update your player.

I'm a gamer that wants to someday be a voice actor. I also watch all sorts of videos here on newgrounds and would love to be a part of the magic. Drop me a line sometime!
